In March 2019, P2’s nominee, Fuse, was successful in being selected to join the week-long Simona Accelerator Program.
During the week, founders will have the opportunity to make acquaintance with other female founders from across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and gain a better understanding of the APAC market. The accelerator program also seeks to connect founders with reputable Venture Capital firms from the APAC. Through the seminars with industry professionals and experts, founders will learn to effectively scale up their businesses. Simona accelerator strives to be the platform for women entrepreneurs to connect and boost their growth through on-hand experience.

As part of its commitment to advocate and advance more women leaders, Simona Ventures — a platform that provides access and opportunities to empower businesses and initiatives that solve the gender gap challenges — will organize the second batch of all women-founders accelerator program in October 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia
Simona Accelerator APAC Women Founders will provide mentoring sessions to help women founders understand Indonesia’s startup ecosystem, which will include, but will not be limited to the following topics: market behavior, fundraising, legal, marketing, pitch training, leadership, and culture building. The content will also address specific challenges faced by women founders through sessions led by curated industry experts and players.

For this current batch we accept twenty startups from any verticals and industry experience, with criteria as follows:
■ Have a minimum of one woman founder/co-founder
■ Interested in expanding to the Indonesian market
■ Legally incorporated and headquartered in any countries across Asia Pacific.
■ Raised at least US$200,000
■ Actively seeking to raise $1M-$3M within 6 months of the program
■ Demonstrated traction through fundraising, revenue, customer growth, and other scalable metrics
■ Confident in communicating in English
